Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the index and sectors led shares higher.
At the end of trading in Saudi Arabia, quotes increased by 1.06%.
The best performers of the session were East Pipes Integrated Industrials Company (TADAWUL:) shares rose 8.96% or 13.40 points to close at 163.00. Meanwhile, Mouwasat Medical Services Company (TADAWUL:) added 8.60% or 9.20 points to close at 116.20 and Al Hassan Ghazi Ibrahim. Shaker (TADAWUL:) rose 8.60%, or 2.15 points, to 27.15 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Astra Industrial Group (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.92% or 6.00 points to trade at 147.00 at the close. National Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:) fell 3.23%, or 0.38 points, to end at 11.38. Saudi Arabian Mining Company (TADAWUL:) shares fell 2.60%, or 1.20 points, to 45.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabian Stock Exchange by 162 to 121, while 26 remained unchanged.
Oil for July delivery fell 0.94%, or 0.73, to $77.18 a barrel. In commodities trading, Brent crude for August delivery fell 0.62%, or 0.51, to $81.37 a barrel, while the August gold futures contract fell 0.79%, or 18. 80, and traded at $2,347.70 per troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.12% at 4.07 and USD/SAR was unchanged 0.00% at 3.75.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.08% to 104.57.
