SEOUL (Reuters) – Samsung Electronics expects revenue from its advanced chip packaging business to be $100 million or more this year, co-CEO Ke-Hyun Kyung said on Wednesday.
Samsung (KS:) created an advanced chip packaging business unit last year, and Kyung said he expects the results of Samsung’s investment to begin to show in earnest in the second half of this year.
Kyung’s remarks were made during Samsung’s annual general meeting of shareholders.
