NEW YORK (Reuters) – The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission is expected to announce a $100 million settlement with JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:) as early as Wednesday over trading reporting errors, a source told Reuters , directly familiar with the situation.
The bank is expected to admit it violated agency rules in the deal, the person said.
A CFTC spokesman declined to comment. A JPMorgan spokesman declined to comment but referred to previous statements that the bank self-reported the violation and found no misconduct or any harm to customers.
