Investing.com – Norway’s stock market fell after the close on Monday as sector losses dragged shares lower.
At the close of trading in Oslo, quotes fell by 0.08%.
The best performers of the session were Nel ASA (OL:), which rose 6.93% or 0.20 points to trade at 3.06 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordic Semiconductor ASA (OL:) added 4.05%, or 4.20 points, ending trading at 107.90, and Hafniya, LLC (OL:) was up 1.59%, or 1.00 points, at 63.95 in late trade.
The worst performance of the session was Autoliners Hoegh ASA (OL:), which fell 4.95% or 5.70 points to trade at 109.50 at the close. Orkla ASA (OL:) shares were down 1.42% or 1.40 points to finish at 97.35. Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA (OL:) fell 1.34%, or 0.15 points, to 11.02.
Declining shares outnumbered advancing ones on the Oslo Stock Exchange by 176 to 108, with 22 ending unchanged.
Oil for February delivery rose 0.23%, or 0.17, to $74.13 a barrel. In commodities, Brent crude for March delivery rose 0.26%, or 0.20, to $76.71 a barrel, while the February gold futures contract fell 0.38%, or 10.06. , and traded at $2,644.64 per troy ounce.
EUR/NOK rose 0.04% to 11.71, while USD/NOK fell 0.75% to 11.27.
US Dollar Index futures fell 0.63% to 108.11.
